MyFlixer wasn’t an independent site. Investigators later identified it as one of several sister sites run by the Hanoi operation behind FMovies, the busiest pirate streaming network in the world. Its siblings included sites such as bflixz, flixtorz and movies7, and the group also ran a video-hosting service that supplied streams to them all.
That shared setup is why MyFlixer disappeared at the same moment as FMovies. When the core operation was shut down, every site that depended on it went dark together.
How MyFlixer was shut down
Outages across the network began in July 2024. On August 29, 2024, the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, a coalition whose members include Netflix, Disney, Amazon and Apple, announced that Hanoi police had shut the operation down with its support, and two men were arrested.
According to the announcement, the network’s sites, MyFlixer among them, had drawn more than 6.7 billion visits in the 18 months before the takedown. No official MyFlixer has operated since.
